This list is subject to change based on the changing schedule of the various networks, but as of February 2010 I’m currently watching:
Monday – There’s no way to watch this much quality television on Mondays without the DVR. <Sigh>
NBC – Chuck
NBC – Heroes
FOX – 24: Jack Bauer = awesome. ’Nuff said.
ABC – Castle
TNT – Men of a Certain Age
FX – Damages
Tuesday
FOX – American Idol: one of the few shows I watch that I feel comfortable watching with my kids.
ABC – Lost
ABC – Better Off Ted
FX – Sons of Anarchy (on hiatus): Currently the best show on TV. Period. Yes, even better than Lost and 24.
Wednesday
ABC – Modern Family
FOX – American Idol
FX – Nip/Tuck: Yes, I know it’s gone way down hill. But I’ve invested 3 or 4 seasons, and I need to see how the show ends. But, it’s one of the last shows I watch each week.
Thursday – Must see TV on NBC for comedies
NBC – Community
NBC – Parks and Recreation
NBC – The Office
NBC – 30 Rock
ABC – The Deep End: New dramedy based in a law office, I’m going to give it 4-5 episodes and see how interested I am. I owe at least that many episodes to the outstanding Clancy Brown.
ABC – Grey’s Anatomy: Yes, it’s a chick show, but it’s one of the only shows my wife and I watch together.
Friday
SYFY – Caprica: New show from the makers of Battlestar Galactica. The pilot left me not really caring about any of the characters or their story but I want to give it a chance. I’ll try 2-3 more episodes before I make a decision.
Saturday
No new shows, just catchup on the DVR when I’m not busy having a real life.
Sunday
ABC – Desperate Housewives: Yes, another chick show. Get over it.
ABC – Brothers and Sisters: See above.
HBO – Big Love
HBO – True Blood (on hiatus)
HBO – Hung (on hiatus)
HBO – Entourage (on hiatus)
HBO – Bored to Death (on hiatus)
Currently on hiatus; not sure when and what day they will air
ABC – FlashForward
ABC – V: Big fan of the original as a kid, this remake has serious flaws. Looking for huge improvements starting in episode 5 or I’ll be dropping it.
FOX – Glee: I’m not quite sure why I like this show so much, but it was created by Ryan Murphy, the same guy who brought us Nip/Tuck.
SYFY: Stargate Universe
